Ice Skating and Steamboat!!

I had a truly joyous last Thursdayyyy with the monkeys!!

First we went to Sushi Zanmai for our brunch! Then walk walk and went ice skating! Yay!

Paid RM15 for the entrance fees and we are ready to skate!! hehe ^^

This was the first time that most of us went to ice-skating. 

Being a beginner for ice skating, I was pretty apprehensive, part of me would like to enter the ice skating rink as fast as possible, but another part of me were worried about falling down on the rink,

and become joker of the day.

Here's the thing, before we all went to the ice rink for skating,

most of them said that they are either first-timers or really terrible at ice skating.

Once I put my first foot on the rink, I realized that it is nothing like what I expected before, it is freaking slippery and I cannot even stand straight, I quickly hold the fence around the rink and

I was like.. "oh damn, what have I done, I started to regret now. Can I leave now?"

but I guess it's a little bit too late for that. I halted there, and looked around the ice rink.

When we were all struggling at the ice rink, the guys were all effortlessly gliding across the ice looking like professional skaters.

Jia May and I felt so cheated and started to murmur with each other, 

"These are the so-called first-timers!"

But luckily they are really kind enough to teach and lead us.

The fun begins. It was really fun skating on the ice, I love the feeling of being on ice,

although most of the time I was holding the fence hahha.

I just don't wanna leave my hands off the fence because i am too afraid of falling down.

They keep forcing me to let go off the fence and I was like, "NO!"

as in I am Juliet and the fence is Romeo, nobody gonna separate us. *dramaqueen

Nah, just kidding.

Hahhaha. Long story. But thanks all the monkeys for teaching me and saving my life.

I almost fell for a few times but they rescued me!! :D

Overall, the ice skating session was amazing, we were all ecstatic to be there, except Mona, hahhaa

because she said 'ice-skating' isn't her thing haha.

Then after the ice-skating session, we went to buy mille crepe for Silvia's birthday celebration and went to steamboat at Chong Qing (Mentari). Here are some of the photos, hehhehe i grab all these photos from Jia May. Oh damn, I freaking need a camera now. It's really not good keep stealing people's photo. heheh

we have to consider about two key points:
1. Face Shape
2. Type of hair


Which bangs flatter your face shape most?

Round Face: Long, side-swept bangs

Square Face: Full, blunt bangs

 Oval-faced: Any bangs

Heart shaped: Long bangs

Deciding hair bangs based on the face shape might not be accurate enough. Hair type is a vital factor as well, everyone has different hair type and some people might not able to get their ideal bangs or fringe. It's always better to go for a good and trusted saloon, ask them for recommendation and they will tell you which bangs suit you.  Staring at Zoey Deschanel's photo makes me feel like getting bangs as well. haha.

ABC+Rojak

Finally satisfied my sushi cravings today with my lovely sister.

OKAY back to the topic.

Well in my opinion, Sushi King don't really serve the best sushi, but it's good enough to fulfill my sushi cravings. Their unagi and cheese tobikko sushi are Samantha's and my favorite. 

And yeah, did anyone know that Sushi Bonanza is coming soon?

15th to 18th of October in Selangor and KL yo! I remembered I was with the monkeys, the first time I went to a Sushi Bonanza, and we had lots of fun too. Great memories! Monkeys always the best! :D

Our current hectic university life and different courses have actually distant us,

we are no longer that close anymore :( 

Hmm, hopefully we all get to go there again this year! :D

And those who followed my twitter would definitely know this, I've been mentioning the same tweet all over again, haha I'm going ice skating with the UNISA monkeys for the first time in my life!

So excited and highly anticipated about that! hopefully I won't fall too terribly as a first-timer.

 and there's a steamboat party going on at night. Yay!

Although we both knew each other only 7 months time, but we are pretty close already.

She's a really lovely and adorable girl. 

And she's the first Indonesian that I know who can speak mandarin, english and hokien fluently!

Any one here loves Korean drama? Recently my sister, Samantha has introduced me 

a Korean drama called To The Beautiful You and I really love it!

It's a comedy based on a Japanese comics, Hanazakari no Kimitachi. This drama talks about a Korean girl who is staying in United States adored a talented and famous high jump Korean athlete. 

She idolized the athlete and in order to get closer to her idol, she disguised herself as a guy

to enter the all-boys boarding school that her idol is currently studying at.

Unlike the other dramas, this drama is filled with fun and unique elements in which you will never get bored. Besides that, all the actor and actresses are very attractive and nice looking as well. 

oh my oppa! (喔我的oppa!) hahaha.

And yeah, I'm pretty sure you guys gonna love it. Go watch it! It's trending yo!

Veet's Pampering Beauty Session!

Received a phone call from Nuffnang Darren, I was invited to a Veet's Pampering Beauty Session at Hotel Maya, yay! 

Of course, I quickly said yes, I mean hello, there's no girls who can resist beauty sessions right?

Silly me, as usual done blur things again. 

I thought the beauty session was on next Friday and I am supposed to celebrate Wei Rong's birthday this Friday. Early morning in Friday, I was preparing the birthday surprises and then only I realized that the event date has clashed with Wei Rong's birthday celebration . Oopsy! And what's even worse, I lost my 4s, and I don't have a gps and camera for the event! Oopsy x2!

As a result, I ended up didn't attend (aka FFK) Wei Rong's birthday celebration. Sorry! 

and luckily Jia May is kind enough to borrow me her gps and DSLR! hehe! Thanks a lot babe!

So with these kits, I'm able to attend the event on time and takes good photos! 

It's my time going to Hotel Maya, and the Veet's Pampering Beauty Session is held at the Sky Lounge.

It's a really beautiful place. Love it! Oh anyway, I met fabulous Genevieve from FriendlyFashion at the lift.

The sky lounge is extremely cozy with the dim yellow lightning. Met many beautiful people there. 

And oh these three beautiful celebrities are here with us to share their beauty tips.

Yeah, I had a great pampering night with the girls' last night! What a lovely friday to release all the stress and met so much beautiful and friendly people! 

There's one thing in which I really like about them, they are really generous in sharing their beauty tips, routine and so on. hehe. Oh I forgot to mention that the Veet's products worked so efficiently on my hair, haha, love 'em. The results really amazed me. Personally I would recommend the Wax Strip as it is really efficient and fast! In just a few minutes time, my hands' hair are all gone!

Had a great work out with Jasmine and Samantha today!

It's been awhile since the last time I went to gym, i was too busy with my assignments and so on.

It feels so awesome and incredible after having a work out!

 It's like all the stress have gone out of sudden!

Ohh ohh, I've bought Samsung Galaxy Y Hello Kitty Limited Edition as a replacement phone :)

Looks very pretty right?

 FYI Samsung Galaxy Y is the cheapest android phone, and the market price is RM399!

And I actually found a shop at ss15 selling this limited edition at rm399 with 2 years warranty!

Fabulous.

Mille Crepe @Celebration SS15

I'm a Mille Crepe lover but the thing is that, there is not much place that actually sells Mille Crepe.

For those people who wonders what Mille Crepe is, Mille Crepe is actually french thousand layer cake.

"Mille" is translated to thousand, whereas "Crepe" is defined pancake layers, if we translate it, it will become "thousand pancake layers". 

                 

Jia May has brought us to Dreamz@Kota Damansara before just for us to satisfy our mille crepe cravings. You can read more about Dreamz Bakery here. 

At the beginning, we were really in love with the bakery, but after we went there approximately two times, we realized that the quality is not controlled nicely, sometimes their Mille Crepe might taste great but sometimes, the cake isn't fresh enough. They might have stored it for few days, well I don't know, that's just my point of view, so we ended up stop going there.

Last few days, I was using instagram and spotted that Shan Shan them had mille crepe somewhere in Subang and the mille crepe seems so tempting. I was so excited and asked Shan Shan for the location and kicked off our journey searching for mille crepe with some monkeys.

After driving a few rounds, I've finally found the bakery!! 

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Well the shop has some sort of 'humble' elements, is not easily to spot!

The shop is a few shop lots next to Pontian Wanton Mee ss15.

We were so excited and once got our parking, we just swagged into the bakery. 

And yeah, they offer more than 30 flavors of Mille Crepe which is so marvelous!!

When we got in the bakery, there is not much flavors left and we can actually spot some empty tray next to the desk. Oh, oh, wait! and the best part is, we can free tasting the cake!!

Therefore we don't have to worry about getting the cake which we don't like.

                 

Not only cake, they serve breads as well.

                 

I ordered Mille Crepe Bamboo Charcoal Slice which costs rm8.50 and there is not tax surcharged.

Or maybe they have included in the rm8.50? hahaha I don't know.

                 

My Mille Crepe Bamboo Charcoal Slice! I decided to choose this after getting the free tasting.

And it tastes amazing! You can actually feel the layers and cream melted into your mouth.

I personally think that it is even nicer than Malacca Nadaje Mille Crepe.

Oh, for those who want to have a try at Celebration, I personally would recommend Vanilla Mille Crepe, Charcoal Mille Crepe and Tiramisu Mille Crepe. They taste amazing, highly recommended.

Not only that, they provide a really comfortable and good environment which is great for friends' outings. 

So that is all for today's post. Had really fun time with the monkeys and looking forward for more outings. But before the outings, we got to rush our assignments first.

Terrible Thursday

I had a extremely hectic and terrible Thursday. 

I was rushing for my assignment with my buddies and therefore we didn't sleep at all. Attended 8am morning tutorial and right after the tutorial classes, around 12pm, I went directly to toilet before heading to IT laboratory to continue with my work.

 Had gastric while doing my assignments but I just ignore the pain and continue doing my work. After I've done printing out my assignment hardcopy at around 2pm, suddenly I felt that something wasn't right. It is impossible that my phone didn't vibrate completely for the past 2 hours. Anxiously, I quickly check my handbag and realized that my phone wasn't there.

Browse all the places that I went but couldn't find, and the last time that I remembered holding a phone was at the toilet. Oh damn, silly me has left my phone in the toilet.

Went back to the toilet but realized it was gone already, someone has taken it!

Even when we use Js's phone to locate my phone, the 'find my iphone' apps couldn't locate because the girl who took my phone has switched the phone off. 

Tried our best to look for the iPhone but couldn't find. It has gone.

The monkeys are really nice, all of us are so starving and busy, and yet they all still trying their best to search the iPhone for me. 

We even went to Student Central Lost and Found session to ask for it but apparently no one has returned the phone. Obviously, the girl has stolen it away!

I was filled with anguished and couldn't hold my tears anymore.

So embarrassing that I actually cried in the student central and there was a staff who approached me and she is really friendly and tried to cheer me up.

Misery Thursday.

On Friday, Li Ling helped me to call my phone again and out of our surprise, the girl has switched on the phone, but she didn't answer the call. During the third time Li Ling called, the girl has already switched off the phone. Okay, I have started to accept the cruel fact that I will not be able to get the phone back anymore.

Then we tried to locate the phone again and realized that 'find my iphone' apps.

It has located my phone at Shah Alam Bukit Jelutong last Thursday night. 

The place seems like a housing area and she actually switch on my phone at a field near the car park. 

But they don't have detailed address and therefore it is really impossible for us to find it back.

Okay conclusion, the girl who took it has a high probability of staying in Bukit Jelutong.

Well all I can say is, what goes around comes around, 

let us wait for the karma bitch to slap you.

And oh, on friday night, I received an email from the Student Central staff, she told me that no one has returned my phone and she even asked me to go find her and have a talk when I feel bad.

She will give me an ice cream treat too. haha what a lovely staff. 

Oh, I wanted to say a big thanks for those who helped me,

including those who helped me to find my phone, tried to cheer me up, replace new sims card, offers to borrow me their phone and etc. Sorry for letting you guys worried about me again.

You guys are awesome!
