The Skintopic First Aniversary @Pavilion

Hello readers! Last Thursday, I was honorably invited by The Butterfly Project to attend the SkinTopic, Pavilion for their first anniversary.

I reached the SkinTopic's event quite early and carried my Nex-F3 to start capturing scenes and moments. However, brilliant me has forgotten to bring along the memory card, hence I ended up taking
photos using my iPhone, I sincerely apologize for the bad photo quality.

Pretty girls sitting on the registration table and waiting for guests.

We're lucky to get the opportunity to witness the making of the amazing Linden Leaves aromatherapy synergy oil by the founder, Bridget Blair.

Blair, the founder of Linder Leaves is extremely friendly and gorgeous. In fact, I was surprised as she's the one who approached me first. She patiently answered all our questions with a great wide smile on her face. She came to KL all the way from New Zealand to demonstrate us the making of Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy Oil.

One interesting fact about Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy Oil is that they are all made with real fruits or flowers, such as Lavender, Strawberry, Roses, Wild Apples and etc.
These fruits or flowers are all freezed dried. Once they are infused in the oil, the fruits or flowers will be 'realive' and all the nutritions will mix with the organic rosehip and avocado oil blended with pure sweet almond and apricot kernel oils. These Synergy Oil is enriched with Vitamin E, which keeps the skin soft and nourished. There are four types of synergy oil: Memories, Absolute Dreams, Pick Me Up and In Love Again.

This is the workstation where Blair will be demonstrating the making of Linden Leaves Aromatheraphy Synergy Oil.

Blair is guiding the participants on the making of aromatherapy synergy oil.
I wanted to try it out as well since it's once in a blue moon opportunity, however they're running out of bottles. Hahaha shouldn't have spend so much time hesitating.

She's really adorable and I do enjoy reading her blog all the time.
It's really a great experience attending this event as I've got a chance to witness the making of the awesome synergy oil by the Linden Leaves founder. Besides that, I've got to meet many bloggers in 'real life', including Karen Oh, Laura Leia, Cindy Tong and etc. All of them are so lovely and friendly.
Thanks the butterfly project again for the invitation and let me learn so much new things.

Let me end this post with me posing with the roses, photos credited to a sweet blogger, Laura Leia.

My 3CE Shopping Hauls and Review!

안녕하세요!
Hello readers! Sorry for the lack of blog updates due to I'm having an extremely hectic student life.
All those assignments and tutorial works are driving me crazy. It's so hard for me to handle all these university stuffs and I'm preparing the university application and documents for studying aboard in Australia for a year starting February.

Anyway, for those who always read my blog, or those who knows me personally, would have known that I'm a korean wannabe and I just love everything about Korea. Not sure if you've heard of Stylenanda before, so here's a brief introduction of StylenandaStylenanda is an online leading fashion store in Korea, which sells trendy clothings, shoes, swimwear, accessories and cosmetics. They ship internationally and they have fans all around the world.

All Stylenanda models look so pretty and each of them has a very distinct personally and attractive charm. I'm a big fans of Park Sora and she's on my phone wallpaper, she looks so perfect from every single angle *envy much*.

After months of eyeing on their cosmetics line, naming 3 Concept Eyes (3CE), I've bought quite a few items them and I've decided to do a review for those you are interested to buy as a guideline (or at least a reference).

The best selling products by 3CE would be their signature lip pigment.
The most significant and well known 3CE lip pigment color would be 'electro pink' and I personally prefer 'mellow pink' more due to 'electro pink' is a bit too striking for me, but here's a very good part about 3CE, you can actually mix different lip pigment color to create your ideal lip color. If the color is too striking to you, you can add "modern white" to tone down the color.

Here's a very interesting fact about 3CE lip pigment. In case you're wondering what is the key drivers for the highly popularity of the lip pigment . These lip pigments are not used for lips only, it can be used as a blusher, or even an eyeshadow!

Pros:
The lip pigment can also used as blusher, eye shadow and we can mix the color as we want and won't easily get fed up with the same color. It's easy to apply

Cons:
It's a bit dry and doesn't really suit dry lips, try apply balm before using the lip pigment for better result.

The market price for this is RM60, however you can find them at lower or higher price, it should be less than 10% of price difference, do take note that there are non-genuine products available on market, hence be careful while purchasing them.

I've ordered my 3CE products from an instagram shop: @pawanna_shop.
Definitely recommend this shop as they only sell original and genuine products, and the shop owner is very friendly and patient enough to answer all my questions, not only that, they give free gifts too!
In case you're wondering, I've got my honey water mist, skin finger sponge, pore silky balm and shimmer stick (pink), and they're kind enough to give me an adorable Etude House make up sponge and a Innisfree face mask as a gift.

I've decided to divide my 3CE 'review' blog post into two parts so that I can give a detailed (and hopefully useful) review for those who're interested coz I personally think that there are not much reviews about these products yet.

Let me first start my review with 3CE's pore silky balm, the pawanna shop is selling it at RM60.
Pros:
It works efficiently on my pores (especially nose), my pores are less visible after applying it.
It creates a smooth base and it is not oily at all. It's hygienic too due to there's a plastic lid which separates the balm from the puff and spatula.

Cons:
I saw some people saying that this balm can be used as a primer, hence I've tried using it as a base without applying any primer. However, it doesn't work so well for me (as a primer) due to my skin is too dry.

Overall:
I am amazed by this product and I extremely love it! Definitely recommend it but the results may vary based on different people skin condition!

Rating:

Next, I would like to continue my review with 3CE's shimmer stick in which @pawanna_shop is selling at RM70. It's available in two colors: pink and peach. I was in dilemma in choosing the color and the shop owner recommended me pink and in fact I love the color so much

 How to use:

Pros:
This shimmer sticks is very soft and easy to be applied, it looks very natural too.
Not only that, it stays on my skin for a long time.

Cons:
It's slightly pricey thou.

Overall:
Thumbs up for this product! Would definitely purchase again.

Ratings:

That's all for my 3CE products blog review part 1. For those who's interested to purchase 3CE products, do take note that there are many non-genuine products out there, hence be careful while purchasing them.
