Blog Makeover!

Hello readers! Did you notice any difference?

YESHH, *bingo* after few days of under construction, I've finally changed a new blog skin, thanks to the talented Sabrina's for the great help!

I've been using my previous blog skin for around 16 months and kinda get bored of it.

I've always got a lot of ideas on how my ideal blog skin would be,

but due to my "limited skills", I'm able to "dream" it only, instead of making it "real".

So, last week, I happened to see Sabrina's blog design and was really impressed by Sabrina's work!

Thus, I approached Sabrina and asked for her help, I've gotta say that I'm really satisfied with her work and would definitely recommend anyone who owns a blog and needs a great blog designer. 

Just in case you wonder, how does this blog skin makeover works, 

basically I just have to answer Sabrina's questionnaire and tells her my desired designs,

then she'll follow my instruction and try to fulfill all my requirements.

It's really a pleasure working with her, coz she is very understanding and always bear with me.

She is very efficient too, it only takes around 4 days time to complete this blog skin.

Mother's Day Celebration

We are so busy growing up that we often forget that they are getting old.
I never realized this until what happened last December. You know what they always say, let the bygones be bygones, BUT before we make another mistake, we have to always learn from mistakes.
Just always keep in mind that everyone should spend more time with family no matter how busy we are, because they are the ones who never leave us and they always loved us for who we are.

Anyway, enough with the long-winded grumpy grandma grumbles,
today's post is mainly about how I spend my Mother's day with my family. This is the first time ever, that we actually do proper Mothers' day celebration planning among the cousins weeks before the actual day. It's really great seeing cousins helping each other and put in so much effort trying to make this celebration a memorable one. Even though everyone is so busy with own career and studies, but still able to find time to get back hometown and celebrate Mother's day with family.

 These are only part of the food! Was too busy eating and forgot to take photos of the mini pizza,

potato with bacon, lamb, beef, Vietnamese roll and so on.

 What an enjoyable night! We had so much fun bonding with each other.

Blah Blah BLAHHH

Just realized that I've slowly turning into a beauty blogger instead of a lifestyle blogger,

well the biggest reason is that, I barely have my own social life anymore. 

I'm way too busy with my university quizzes, assignments, blog and Swaggy, and I don't really go out

at night now. I don't really hang out with friends much now. I've even cancelled an important makeover session. Ish, feel so bad about it, but I have just got no time for that, and speaking of entertainment, I just realized I've not watched movies since Chinese New Year. And yes, I haven't watched Iron Man 3 yet, okay stop giving me the despise stare, I'm gonna watch it soon -.-

I wish that I've some sort of magic, maybe suddenly black out, and *tadah* my assignments and quizzes are all completed.

So I've been rotting at home last few days doing my assignment, watch election

broadcast and so on. I know what you're thinking, but no, I'm not gonna rant here, I will never mention politics here, but anyway during the last few days, I've experienced something awful and thankfully I have awesome besties and great sister who helped me get through the hard time. 

With these people' accompany, I've fully recovered within 24 hours and now I'm totally fine with it,

and I've become a happier me! And surprisingly, my perspectives just changed suddenly,

and perhaps see things much clearer too!

Monday Blueeee!

Back to Subang today after my one week semester break, in fact we still have to submit

two assignments during the break. Ish!

Whatever.

Although it's a extremely short break, but it's fine thou, I did enjoy it by spending most of the time 

with my family, err and with FOOD as well ahaha. 

Just couldn't resist all the scrumptious food *drools* especially mum's Vietnam roll. ahahha. 

Oh ya, I actually spend yesterday's spare time go for a jogging session with Yi May oh my gosh.

So healthy huh recently hahaha? The truth is I'm just trying to burn off the fats from the snacks

and food that I keep munching on non stop during the semester break hahaha.

So we spent most of the time talking to each other, instead of running, and there was an uncle,  

who was walking behind us, actually overhead us by 1.5 round of the jogging track.

So so so embarrassing, haha we started staring each other and keep giggling!

Missing You

3.14am in the morning right now and I couldn't sleep, 

too much things going on my mind right now, and I don't know why. Maybe I'm just too stressful recently, and when everything in my mind just mixed up together, and the clump starts to contradict with each other which eventually make things more complicated. 

 It's okay if you don't understand what I'm saying here,

 because I, myself have no idea either on what I'm trying to say, so anyway, 

please just ignore me alright? I know, I'm sorry for wasting your precious time reading these nonsense. I don't know what is wrong with me, but don't worry,

I'm pretty sure that this will go off really soon, so yea just bear with me in the meantime.

Short Updates!

Promised Jennifer to stay away from my laptop and whatsoever so that I will have sufficient rest,

but ahaha! I didn't keep my promise *giggles*

Seriously, been so stressed up recently and was not feeling well. 

Had two subjects blocks lectures for two weeks consecutively and it's been two tiring weeks for us.

Block lectures, tutorials, lectures, quizzes and assignments really drive me crazy.

Even so, we play hard and work hard! ahaha! 

These few adorable monkeys just started to take some photos of themselves while we're doing our quizzes. And of course, I joined them!!

Random updates

I've been meeting some new friends recently and spending quality time with them.

I guess I kinda prefer my current life now, I just don't wanna lose myself for people who ain't worth it anymore, life is too short for the lame dramas.

Besides that, meeting new people really widen my mind recently,

 and most of the times I'm really impressed by these amazing friends, gonna introduce them in my blog soon if they don't mind la hahaha. They are smart, hardworking, friendly and not selfish at all!

Not exaggerating.

Take for an example, we asked for their assistance in our Financial Accounting 2 quiz and they just

said yes without doubt, then, after a few days later, they just approached us after deciding the time, Swimming (who has no class that day) and Jia Ying (class at 4pm) ended up arriving university before 8am just to help us with our quiz! (p/s: they are staying at massive jam area). 

hahaha, not only that la, there are a few more things, I just came out with an example la *giggles*

Seriously so glad to meet them, gonna go Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant tomorrow with them,

and of course with my usual monkey gang *smirk* We're inseparable hahaha. I don't know why but whenever we're together, I just feel so much better ahha.

And hey! did you realize that I've been missing out Joelle's updates recently?

Anybody misses Joelle?

In fact I've not seen her for a month until last weekend, Michelle brought Joelle here and she looks

so different now, much heavier and naughtier hahaha.

What a cute niece!! Ahaha and did you notice there's a giraffe on the couch?

Her name is Sophie ahaha, one of baby Joelle's favourite toys haha.

Time flies! It's the fourth week of my new semester and everything's so far so good!

Anyone still remember the 'mean girl' that I mentioned in my previous post?

Haha she's getting meaner now, but duh, whatever, mean girls doing mean thing, nothing much special.

Drama's always not my thing but frankly, thanks to her, I've actually 'broaden my mind', know who are my true friends and met more new people who are way much better.

In fact I really like the new me, Lizzie version 2.0, *perasan* hahahah,

I used to be someone who cares about how people think about me, I was such a fool.

I don't need fakers in my life. I'm way too busy to deal with all those dramas and fake stories,

because I truly believe that true friends who will never leave you no matter what, even when someone backstab you or started a drama.

Saw a bestie of mine wasn't really happy recently due to some personal reasons,

hopefully everything's gonna be alright as soon as possible :)

Never Ending Process

Hello readers! 

Sorry for saying this, but in fact I won't be updating my blog so frequently nowadays.

I'm too busy with my current life, so many tutorials work, quizzes and assignment deadlines waiting for me everyday. It all seems like a never ending process. *bang wall*

And I just keep telling myself that: "It's okay, I'm strong enough to handle this."

Even though it's just the beginning of the semester, 

my buddies and I have already started to feel the tension. All the subjects we took this semester are way too heavy and this requires us to put in a lot of effort in order to cope with the subjects. 

My skin condition is getting worse caused by the stress. *oh no!*

So far, I've not skipped any lectures or tutorials at all *swag*, and I concentrated fully in the class as I've promised in my previous entry that I will work harder this semester,

hopefully all my hard works will be paid off. *giggle*

Anyway, I'm glad that the 'dramas' are over (previous post).

To be specific, it's not really over, well the mean girl is still being mean, nothing much different, but the thing is that, I don't care any longer. I'm not gonna be mad, upset or disappointed because of this type of people coz they don't worth it. Thanks for letting me see your true color though. 

I'm still guessing who's the next victim :P

Rants and Ravings

Since I was in primary school, I love to watch those high school movies such as Freaky Friday,

New York Minute, What A Girl Wants and so on. Did you notice that there's always a 'mean girl' aka bitch character in the movie, and apparently those girls just like to make others' lives miserable?

 Of course, this does not only happen in dramas or movies only, there are real mean girls in reality,

but I'd just be normal friend with them, always keep a distance from them #highschoolsurvivaltips101

so I was really lucky for not encountering any mean girls' drama during my primary and secondary school life until recently.

.....

It's alright, others are not blind, I'm pretty sure that her true colors and ugly personality will be revealed one day.

Geek Life

I'm back to Subang and my year two degree life has officially started. Too many tough subjects this semester and it's been stressing me up.  Not only that, just the books and photocopy fees cost me around one thousand ringgit,  thankfully we have RM250 book voucher to subsidize, it's still expensive though, since we don't really use much textbook.

So, last week I was attending Jeremy's lecture and Jeremy mentioned something about investment.

Then he started to ask us,

  "Are parents counted as investors since they've been spending a lot of money on their children?" 

I was thinking, "duh of course" 

but I was wrong, parents are not investors because they never look for returns.

No doubt, Jeremy is right. Our parents have sacrificed so much for us, just to try their best to provide us a better life and they never ask for anything back. 

This makes me guilty much since I've been slacking way too much for the past two semesters, 

I promise I will work harder this semester not to let my parents down. 

Yeah, you read it right, stop rubbing your eyes, I said it and I meant it.

I now officially announced that I'm starting my geek life, from now on.

Life

One of the things that I've learnt about life is that, 

never force someone to stay in your life, coz if they want to stay, they will stay no matter how much it takes. Don't get upset when somebody leaves you, instead, feel sorry for them,

because they just lost someone who loved them.

Course starting *scream*

The arrival of March indicates my three months holiday has finally come to an end.

I'm starting my degree second year this coming Monday. And this is the first time ever, my gang and I ain't taking the same timetable, ish!! We knew that this might happen to us therefore we registered our subjects together last semester, but... we still get different timetable. So used to attend every classes with them.

Maybe it's just a time for me to be independent. *sobz*

Odd experience

Hello everyone!! 

So far I had a wonderful holiday, a great vacation with my family and my new semester is starting in less than two weeks time. *highly anticipating*

There are so many things for me to blog about, and I've been procrastinated for way too long.

Must force myself to update my blog much recently.  Just keep reading my blog and stay tuned to my upcoming posts on my birthday celebration part 2, Chinese New Year, Penang, Phuket and Krabi Star cruise trip *winkk*

As you can see from the title of the post, I'm gonna blog the oddest ever flight experience of mine

which just happened last two days ago. Those who have followed my Instagram or Twitter would have known this. hehe. 

This is how the thing goes. Yesterday, my family and I were at Penang International Airport

waiting for our Malaysia airline flight to abroad from Penang to KL, and then we're gonna take another flight back to Kuantan at 10.10pm. We were supposed to enter the airplane before 7.45pm but the flight has postponed and we ended up entering the gate at 8pm. Things get worse when there was some technical problem with the airplane and therefore we have to wait them to solve and we ended up taking a flight at 10.45pm. By the time we get to KL, we've missed our connection flight back to Kuantan. As a result, Malaysia Airline provided us free accommodation, which included free McDee for dinner and a night staying at Pullman Putrajaya Hotel.

It's a really beautiful hotel at Putrajaya but too bad we've only few hours to stay there,

since we've a morning flight the next day. This is how our room looks like.

There are so many beautiful places somemore, but too bad we don't have much time to fully explore.

Ended up we reached the hotel at 2.30am and they picked us up at 6.50am :(

So finally, my family and I are back to hometown.

Part 1: 20th's birthday celebration!

I'm going to pretend like I've not been missing for the last weeks and continue to blog like usual hehe ;)

Too much things to blog about, so I'm going to start with my birthday post.

Can't remember the details clearly, but basically I took a few days 'babysitter' leave and sneak to KL

to celebrate with the buddies. 

'Thick face' me been asking the crazies to plan my birthday celebration since few weeks ago,

but they were so terrible that they said will celebrate at our university's cafeteria *punch*

Terrible friends, but luckily we still ended up celebrating at Sunway Pyramid :) *still acceptable*

Had our brunch at Bubba Gum.

Great environment. Overall their food is nice, worths a try especially for shrimp lovers, a bit pricey.

I'm not so into shrimps, so probably no next time I guess :)

Mona, Jennifer, Jason and Kam gave me this huge present.

So I carried this gift around and caught a lot of attention *awkward* hehehe

thanks guys! hehe it's a soft toy bunny and I've named her 'Twinkle'

So bad la this Mona, cover my face -.- I'm queen of the day okay? hahaha

Finally, group shot of the day.

They know that I love mille crepe and went all the way to buy mille crepe for me at Vanilla *hugs*

but we were too full and couldn't eat the cake at all, so we left the cake for the next celebration session.

Then, we went to watch Hansel and Gretel 3D at IMax. 

The movie is superb and I love IMax 3D effect. I used to hate watching 3D movies coz it makes my eyes very tiring after watching the movie, but IMax 3D is different. Unlike other 3D cinemas, IMax's way more real and eyes are not so tiring. Thumbs up for Hansel and Gretel!

I had a lot of fun spending time with these awesome people ^_^

Laugh like mad once I saw them hahaha. Too bad Jennifer can't join us and missed out the fun time.

mille crepe, brunch and movie treat. Kamsahamida.

Oh ya, you guys won't be seeing Mona so frequently in my upcoming posts T_T

because she decided to ditch us and continues her degree at Sydney, leaving us alone in Malaysia *cry*

Wish her all the best in Sydney and never ever-everrrr forget us even though she will meet new friends :)
