An odd experience

Just sharing an incident which i experienced yesterday.

I was walking alone yesterday, after buying some groceries from Coles. It was 34 degree.

I passed by a lady and I heard her mumbling, "Fucking Asian."

I was pretty shocked as I have not done anything wrong, or bumped into her or anything.

All I did was passing by her side.

I turned my back and looked at her, and she gave me an annoying face.

I was pretty frustrated at first, I was thinking how should I respond. But then I realized that even though people treated me rudely, I shouldn't treat them badly.

When i went back to my place, I told my housemates, Michelle and Jason about the incident and they told me that I'm considered lucky. One of our mutual friends, K got spitted on his face by some local girls.

I'm actually glad that I have met so many friendly and nice Australians here, as this is the first time of me dealing with unfriendly Australian after my eight months of staying here. Now that I thought about it, the unfriendly lady might have bad moods due to the hot weather.

Clutches

Hello readers!

Today's I'm going to talk about some tips on choosing clutches to match your outfit.
The right type of clutch a woman chooses to match with an outfit matters a lot. This is because the wrong looking clutch will definitely jeopardize the look you are attempting for.
Clutches is a substitute for handbags and women can work clutches to any occasions. Whether it is to a formal dinner, a private event or even on a casual day out with the girlfriends, clutches are the perfect sassy accessory for women. However, there are a few tips for women to consider before selecting out a clutch for them.

#First Tip: Select the Right Clutch for Your Body Type
The first tip that women should keep in mind is select the right clutch to suit the body type. As clutch may seem smaller compared to handbags but they still come in different shapes and sizes. For petite and small body frame ladies, a smaller sized clutch such as the invitation clutch and round shaped ones. The taller individuals could definitely rock the oversized and long width clutches to match with any outfit they wear.

#Second Tip: Clutch That Fits Your Belongings
The next tip for all the fashionable looking ladies out there is to ensure the clutches you choose can fit your belongings such as cell phone, purse and make up items for touching up on your day out. You do not want to be caught carrying around a bulky clutch as it will not do your outfit good at all. Smaller clutches will probably have the tendency for you to stuff in all your stuff while larger ones might make you carry stuffs you do not necessarily need. Keep in mind your personal items and evaluate whether it could fit into your new clutch bag.

#Third Tip: Clutch That Fits Your Belongings
The last tip you should always consider is purchasing a clutch which is versatile to be matched with most of the outfits you have in that closet of yours. The easiest colours that could easily be paired with your outfits include nude, black, brown or even white. These types of colour allow you to get the best value of your money and wear it with different styles. Another way you could get around the mix and match dilemma is by purchasing several other colours of clutches such as silver, glitzy gold or pastels which could also fit with a majority of your clothes.

If you are wondering where to get affordable yet stylish clutches to go with your outfit, try checking out Zalora website for various beautiful bags online.

They're here!!

I remembered when I first decided that I will be studying aboard at Australia, I was pretty skeptical about it. I had a lot of thoughts, my mind came up with some bad scenarios such as, what if I get homesick, what if I suddenly caught into accidents or things like that, well *touchwood* and I feel bad because I know that studying at overseas isn't cheap.

At first, I even thought of staying at Australia for only one semester, but my dad told me that it wouldn't be sufficient and insisted me to study for one year at least. Well, my dad is right, and not only that, I'm actually considering to extend my studies for longer.

As promised, Jia Ying, Jennifer, Silvia, Ging Siang, Eric, Yih Shuin, Lee Dian came here to Adelaide to visit us during our winter break. It's been around seven months that we have not met each other and hence, we're pretty excited about their visit.

Day 1
Went to my all time favorite, Chocolateria San Churro at Chinatown for dessert after dinner at Ba Guo Bu Yi.

Day 2
University tour!!

A tour to Hahndorf!

My favorite Apple Strudel

and dinner at the Oyster Bar which is located at Glenelg!

I had so much fun with these lovely people but it was really rushed and hence we really run through a tight schedule so that they could visit most of the significant places in Adelaide within 3-4 days time.

-To be Continued-

p/s: I do not own copyright to any of the photos. They are taken from Jia Ying without permission hahaha. Jia Ying, don't sue me!!

Glenelg 6/04/2014

Two weeks ago, we decided to go Glenelg for a walk, and dinner, out of boredom.
It turns out to be a good choice, or else we would be slacking at Urbanest, watching HK dramas and waste our day instead of enjoying these amazing scenarios and scrumptious food.

Okay I look terrible whenever I hunched my back, ugly posture.

Enjoyed our oysters at The Oyster Bar, sis Germaine brought us there once, so here we are, come back again for the delicious and fresh oysters. We ordered the ‘mixed’ oysters, which comes in four various flavors: raw oysters, cheese oysters, sweet chili oysters and bbq oysters ($30). We ordered the seafood marinara platters too, which have fried wedges, calamari ring and shrimp with a choice of three different sauces (sour cream, sweet chili, and tartar sauce).

Ordered blueberry hazelnut meringue stack at The Strand and it tastes awesomely good. Each slice of cake costs $6.90, definitely worth the price.

Self-Discovery Journey

It’s Easter Break and there’s two weeks holiday for us.
I’ve been really irresponsible for not updating my blog often, and it would be such a waste if I just abandon this blog which has gained me a lot of opportunities, and great experience.
Thanks for reading my blog, and I promise that I’ll update it more frequently.

So lately, I’ve browse through the photos which I have taken using my Nex-F3,
and I realized that it’s a great investment to get yourself a good camera. All of you should at least get a camera, it doesn’t have to be expensive, with wifi features and so on, it just have to be good enough to take photos. Memories fade but photos last forever.

We took these photos at outside Adelaide Railway station because we were captivated by the breathtaking view there. It’s only 1-2 minutes away from our accommodation. I love all these old historical-like-buildings and everything just seem, so unrealistic when we got there. I believe none of us would have ever thought that, we would actually “survive” staying at Australia together, without any cars and family. I bet this is not only discovering Australia, it’s also my “self-discovery” journey.

Let me tell you an interesting fact about this adorable girl, Swee Meng. Before we actually get to know her, we have always seen her checking herself out using her front camera during tutorials and lectures (without she realizing it). After we got closer, we started to tease her, and here’s a prove that she’s checking herself out using the car mirror.

So, apparently Swee Meng has got herself a new car here.

And Mr Lame bought the same model car as well.

We were sitting at the grass at River Torrence (side).

None of these photos are being photoshopped, edited, cropped or anything at all. It’s just raw photos.

I’ve been blessed to have this opportunity to stay at this foreign country for one year, meet new people,  enjoy beautiful scenarios, and their lovely weather. I’ve been taking my life granted for not living consciously. I guess now I understand, why many people likes to travel, but still, I have a lot more to learn. Allow me to share my life journey with you all.

And again, thanks for reading.
