Christmas Hair Styling Workshop by Number76

Hello readers!

I’m here to share an interesting experience of me attending first hairstyling workshop. Last Saturday, I’ve attended the Christmas Hair Styling Workshop by number 76 Hair Salon which happened at Foruchizu counter @Isetan KLCC. It’s an amazing workshop in which Odera-san from number 76 will be teaching us how to style our hair for Christmas outings, with a special appearance of Cheesie and Audrey!

This is my first time seeing Cheesie, Yuth and Bobo in real life. I’ve learned some interesting hair styling skills through this workshop. Besides that, I’ve met a new friend and her name is Krystle.
It’s a fun day out and I’ve even got myself two Foruchizu hairband.

Wondering how to style up your hair for Christmas party?
Don’t worry you’ll still be able to learn even though you did not attend the workshop. I’ve made the tutorials into graphics, sharing is caring right? Here are three different tutorials.

p/s: I apologize for the bad photos quality, in order to transfer them into gif., I have to convert them it into lower quality as the original photo size is too big.

Among the three hairstyles, my favorite one would be Bobo’s hairstyle.

And of course, I didn’t miss out the chances to take photos with the beautiful bloggers and models.
My hair looks a little different coz I changed my fringe side (I forgot to bring my hair pins >.<).

Not only that, I’ve got myself a goodies bag which worths RM450. The hair products are superb. My hair is much smoother and softer after trying out the hair treatment.

The Butterfly’s High Tea @ Showcase Plaza Kelana Jaya

Hello!
It’s amazing how the Butterfly Project always organize events which gather the butterflies around, mingle around while learning new blogging skills or exchange blogging ideas.
Last Saturday, I ran off in the middle of SaSa event and dashed from Serdang
to Show Case @Plaza Kelana Jaya in 10 minutes (damn fast hor) to attend The Butterfly Project high tea which is hosted by Server Freak Malaysia for The Butterfly Project’s website launch celebration.

When I get there, almost everyone has reached, I’m number 46 out of 50
Sorry I didn’t mean to reach late, that’s what happened when two events clashed together and I really wanted to go both events badly. I was quite embarrassed for reaching Show Case late and hence I just tiptoed in and looked for empty seat. Thanks Show Case for providing such a spacious and comfortable place for this event, with a beautiful lakeside view too. I ended up skipping the singing performance and cake cutting ceremony.

Look at the beautiful dessert table by Ask Joey. As usual, Ask Joey has always done a good job, besides that, the desserts are not only beautiful, but they taste extremely scrumptious too! I ate the huge macaron and i was addicted to its rosy scent and it’s not too sweet. Thumbs up!!

Besides that, thanks Server Freak for engaging the best English High Tea and sponsored us such delicious finger dessert. They have served us yummy food like sandwiches, scones with strawberry jam, cupcakes, tarts and so on. Pardon me for only manage to take a few food photos because I was too hungry and tempted by the food hahaha.

After high tea session, it’s time for Serverfreak provides wordpress workshop to teach the butterflies on how to kick start our own blog or website using self owned domain name or hosting. Serverfreak understand the fact that it’s difficult to do our own set up, and hence they offer easy and fully set up for everyone who subscribed Serverfreak web hosting services.

It’s interesting that Server Freak actually offer different styles beautiful and simple layout choices for bloggers with different needs. Besides that, it’s not only for bloggers’ use only, it can be used for blog shops too.

I wanted to subscribe Serverfreak badly but I couldn’t, since I’ve already signed up for another company. Based on my experience, I do believe that looking for a reliable self hosting company is important. I remembered when I subscribed to another self hosting company, the experience was horrible. It’s tough to set up and hence I keep sending mails almost everyday for the company staff for assistance. Not only that, somehow Google couldn’t find my url and hence my blog was even down for around one month time. It’s frustrated when you have paid money and yet you still couldn’t locate your blog. It has caused me to lose my Nuffnang Glitterati status as well, but luckily nuffie Darren called up and asked me as a verification before inviting me to NN event.

Okay, back to the high tea session. After the workshop, it’s time for giving out prizes. The representative from Serverfreak give out lucky draws prizes and mini contest prizes to the winners. Then, Caroline gave out the Teddy BEar to the best dressed butterfly, who is CP Moon. There are three lucky winners from our table.

And of course, thanks #123Cheese for the awesome photo booth!

I had lots of fun meeting these butterflies. They are friendly and nice! Although we only met for a few hours, were like close friends already. I dont feel awkwardness or shy while talking to them. Had so much fun chit-chatting with the girls! Looking forward to see them more during the upcoming events!

And of course, I’ve shown some butterfly love by purchasing Tammy’s DIY Note Pads.

Had so much fun today and it’s really a great time hanging out with the butterflies.
Thanks the Butterfly Project for the opportunity!

Thanks for reading!

SaSa Ladies Day @ Selangor Turf Club

Last few weeks ago, I’ve received an invitation to SaSa Ladies Day @Selangor Turf Club, it’a one of the most anticipating SaSa Event of Year 2013 and I have not been there before,
thanks Ai Peng and Pinky for the invitation. It’s my great honor to attend this event and of course, I said yes! All of the invited guests are required to wear a fashionable hat to the event, however, I don’t have any and hence I went to an online shop and bought a red bowler hat.

This is my first time going to Selangor Turf Club (near to Golden Horses Hotel) and luckily SaSa provided a very clear map to guide us and it doesn’t take much time for me to reach there. Once I reached there, the staffs greeted me nicely and ushered me into the restaurant (oops did I forget to mention that there’s a red carpet?). It’s a fabulously glamorous event and everyone dressed up fashionably and beautifully.
The venue is decorated beautifully in pink (SaSa color) and it looked glamorous and elegant.
Some refreshments and beverages and served before the ceremony started.

Party props for us to take photo! SAY CHEESE

Here’s a collection of Cyber Colors make up. I’ve tried out the gel foundation and I really like it as its watery formula can apply on my dry skin evenly and it’s light.

Besides that, SaSa has organized ‘Guess The Winner Contest’. There are ten races throughout the event and one of them is Sasa Fashion on The Turf Trophy (Race 8). You can win exclusive and amazing prizes by guess the horse which will win at the race.

Ladies day is incomplete without ladies pampering sessions and SaSa understand that too! Hence, SaSa provide manicure and makeover sessions for the lovely ladies.

I wanted to try them out too but too bad the queue is quite long and I have to rush to the next event. The emcee of the day is the famous Chui Ling from Hong Kong.
Meet my new friends, Maggie (left) and Vinny (middle). They’re incredibly amazing, friendly and I had so much fun time talking to these babes.

I had so much fun there although I left the event earlier coz it clashed with another event. Deeply apologize if this has caused inconvenience. It’s a fun day at SaSa, really enjoyed the event and had such a glamorous and unforgettable experience there!

Thanks SaSa again for the invites!
