The 17th Asia Pacific Hair & Make-Up Olympics Competition

Last Monday, I was honorably invited to the 17th Asia Pacific Make-Up Olympics Competition.

The 17th Asia Pacific Hair and Make-Up Olympics Competition is an annual event by APHCA (which is set up in 1991) in different countries around Asia Pacific region. This competition is created by APHCA for international and local talents to exhibit and share new knowledge, creativity and ideas with each other. APHCA members include Australia, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India,Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Korea, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand. In addition to that, the competition also allows the industry players to pursue continuos updates about the latest trends and styles, be exposed to vast opportunities and advancing their careers.

Welcome Gala Night of Asia Pacific Hair and Makeup Cultural Heritage Show

Venue: Banquet Hall

The 17th Asia Pacific Hair & Make-Up Olympics

Date: 7th October 2013

Time: 10am-6pm

Venue: Hall 6

The contestants will be put to test through eight intense round of competition though out 7 October, from 10am till 6pm. These competitions comprising:

• Ladies Designer Hair Cut
• Men's Avant-Garde Hair Cut
• Evening Elegant Hair Cut
• Bridal Hair
• Ladies Designer Make-Up
• Evening Elegant Make-Up
• Bridal Make-Up
• Fantasy Make-UP

The contestants are from 13 APHCA member countries. They are from Australia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, China, Malaysia, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand.  

The 300 category contestants are scrutinized and judged by over 90 judges from the region.

This is definitely an event not to be missed by all beauty industry players.

 This is my first time attending Make-Up competition, and it's a fascinating memory for me.
It's an amazing event for all the professional make up artists from all around the world to gather at this exciting competition and show off their impressive talents to the outsiders.
