Guys with Make Up!

Hello my dear readers!!

Since the ancient times, people has a misconception that cosmetics are always for girls only.

Usually guys don’t really wear make up unless for some events or special purposes.

So yesterday, I was walking to restaurant after my accounting class dismissed.

Suddenly Kam and JS bumped into his friend, WK.

I was stunned at first because he was wearing makeup, a basic white plain tee and jeans.

He looks really like a korean guy and seriously I was impressed by his guts.

Don’t worry it looks totally fine on him.

This really pops up a question in my mind: “Should guys wear makeup?”

It’s not that I’ve never seen guys with makeup, you can actually spot a lot of guys with makeup

on the skincare counters, shopping mall, or you-know-what-I-mean.

In my point of view, it’s really no big deal that guys wear make up.

Makeup is all about enhancing face features and boosting one's confidence.

 I can’t find the reasons why guys cannot wear makeup.

It’s just so unfair right, sexual discrimination. Wearing makeup doesn’t make them gay.

Even so, if you are a guy and planning to wear make up:

Guys’ tips on wearing makeup:

1. Do not apply eyeshadow 

2. Do not ever apply underneath eyeliner

3. Don’t use bright red blusher

These are just my advices and you (as a guy) might wonder,

why can’t I apply eyeshadow, TOP from big bang looks just fine with it.

Well, hello! you ain’t TOP! he might look great but I’m not sure whether can you stand out!

hahaha but if you think you can manage that, just go for it!

Super short update

Tutorials start. Hectic school life going on.

Forgive me coz I'll be updating my blog not so often.

So far I'm satisfied with my current university life especially my accounting lecturer.

She makes accounting much easier to be understood. *swag swag*

Hahhaha starting to fall in love with financial account.

Must work harder and score better this semester!! 

My hair is getting longer and can be tied up now ^^

By the way, heard a lot of news about T-ara recently.

No comments towards the issue as I'm just an outsider and it's really unfair for me to comment.

Balik Kuantan!!

Anyeonghaseyo!!

Been missing in action for last few days because I’ve went back my hometown

 for my mum’s birthday!! It’s kinda a surprise celebration coz my mum didn’t know that Samantha 

and I planned to go back. Sister Michelle bought the airplane tickets for us.

Reached at KLIA way too early and randomly take photos while waiting for the flight ^^

Didn’t go back hometown since Chinese New Year’s celebration.

Mum bought and prepared so much scrumptious food for Samantha and I

including our favorite dishes, her newly learned Vietnam Cuisine and so much more.

Didn’t take much photos hahaha coz my phone was out of battery.

She just non stop feeding us hahahaha which is really really cute!!

It’s Puasa now and there are so many bazaar Ramadhan in Kuantan!!

It’s all about food food and food everywhere!!!!

Ate a lot of malay style kuih muih and murtabak as well! love it love it!

Went to the Mexica Restaurant @Kuantan for mum’s birthday celebration dinner last night.
Had really great time. Some really close relatives came by to celebrate with my lovely mummy.
I love family gathering, it’s the time when the relatives can sit together chit chat and talking craps!
It’s extremely warm!

The next day, I went out with a few close friends for a small gathering. So much things to catch up!!

Really appreciate them coz they take out their time to spend with me although they were busy preparing

their STPM which is around the corner =)

Short update!!

Hello my lovely readers!!

It’s 12.55am now and I can’t sleep because I’m afraid that I’ll overslept and miss out the morning flight.

Oh yeah did I mention that I’m going back hometown for an extraordinary occasion *smirk*

And my holiday break has ended. Umm at least I don’t feel so lifeless recently.

Too bad that I have a few 8am classes this semester which means that I have to wake up so damn early

in the morning to avoid traffic jam and get a good parking spot at my campus.

Heard so many people failed accounting Zzz

Anyway I’m glad that I passed all the subjects but the grades ain't good enough.

I swear I would be more well prepared this time and score better in the exam.

Aikss, Degree life really ain’t easy.

Attended a few lectures and I’ve already felt the tension.

Okay, don’t wanna talk about it anymore.

Speaking of my lil Cookie, I don’t know why but seriously I think he has some sort of power, 

he is super affections and he is able to make everyone so lovely and cute

whenever they are with him.

Take for an example, Kam and Jae Sern become so incredibly caring and considerate when Cookie is with them. They kept on asking questions like “Is Cookie thirsty or sleepy?” all the times!!

And I really remembered this scene very well:

Kam: “Hey JS, he looks so cute! Faster take phone out and snap a photo of him!!”

And of course, JS quickly took a snap shot of him.

Anyway, while Kam was waiting for the result to be published on student portals.

He played with his phone app and made a meme.

Poor Cookie! How could Kam turns something so cute into this!!

Like what I mentioned in the blog title, today I’m gonna blog about the Top 5 people I hate the most!!

Today’s post will be full of hatred and negative element, so you can just skip it if you want.

I don’t mind.

No 1: I hate fakers!!!

I might not say it out loud, but it doesn’t mean that I didn’t know.

Stop being so fake, you know what they say, “What goes around comes around!”

No 2: I hate backstabbers!

Treat me nicely in front of me and talk bad about me when I’m not around.

Screw u backstabbers! Just stab me straight on my face, not my back, what a COWARD! 

No 3: Promise Breakers!

It’s even worse when you’re the one who volunteers to do it but ends up you broke the promise!!

If you know that you are incapable of it, don’t simple make promises,

it’ll just disappoint me.

Say Hi to Cookie!

Hello my pretty pretty readers!

Since last few days, my life has started to make a real big change.

Why? here’s the thing, I’ve been wanting to keep a pet for really really long, and yet,

I don’t have the courage to get one because I might not be independent enough to keep a pet.

I was like, probably a pet isn’t really my thing, I might have accidentally tortured it or what.

But recently, the force of keeping a pet is getting real strong and I cannot stand this anymore

especially when I see people posting their cute and love pets on instagram 

and that gives me a strong urge of getting one.

The urge just get stronger when Samantha got her pet hamsters.

Oh ya! everyone, this is Samantha’s hamsters.

It’s really active and non stop moving. Seriously it’s damn tough to take clear photos of them!!

She hasn’t name them yet =)

Alright back to the topic, I’ve been wanting to get a puppy but I’ve got no idea what dog breed should I get. Of course it will be a small puppy. I want a Toy Poodle and got stucked into a dilemma when

Jasmine and Neer recommended me to get a Shih Tzu, instead.

I did some googling and went to pet shops to ask for more advices and recommendation.

They told me that Toy Poodle is way more easier to be taken care off due to Shih Tzu

needs to be groomed constantly. And personally, I love Toy Poodle even more!!

I googled about “what type of dog breed should I get” and done this quiz which

I found quite useful and it recommended me to get a Toy Poodle as well.

Oh yeah, so end of discussion, I’m getting a Toy Poodle and I tweeted about it once I’ve made up my mind.

Long winded. So yeah, I’ve got myself a Toy Poodle.

Say Hi to Cookie the lil monster!

I was really excited when I first get him and quickly snap a shot of his cute and adorable face. 

Uploaded on Instagram right away because can’t wait to share with other people my good news.

Guess what, I was driving and once I reached home, I received a lot of notifications

about this tiny cute lil thing. Everyone kept on asking me about Cookie and can’t wait to play with him.

Some even ask me to change my blog into his, and I actually found that he’s more popular compared to me!!

This sneaky lil monster steal away my popularity.

OKAY now I’m jealous!!

So I started off an Instagram Contest last night to check out who’s more cuter =)

I posted a photo of him and mine respectively at the same time and see who would get the higher vote.

(a lil bit cheating coz only Jae Sern and Jasmine knew what’s going on)

As what I’ve mentioned in my earlier post on mustache trend, I’m really obsessed of mustache tee

but I couldn’t find it anywhere.

So a few days ago, my lil sister Samantha was browsing the Facebook and coincidently she

spotted an online boutique selling mustache tee on the timeline.

She told me and I was really excited and started looking at the photo catalogue.

Not only the purple mustache tee that I’m wearing, the mustache tee comes in 4 other colors as well.

Ain’t these tee shirts look so adorable??

Not only that, it’s not purely for females, but also males as well.

And the best part, each tee only costs 28 bucks!!!

How I Step Up with Nuffnang

Bonjour my lovely readers!

 Have you guys ever watched any flash mob? I’ve always been wanting to witness a flash mob right

in front of my eyes but too bad I’ve never got the chance, I guess I’ve just got no fate.

All I can do is just sit at my living room couch, and watch the flashmob video which has been upload by the public on youtube.

This is one of my favorite flash mob and this is done by Indonesian Lady Gaga’s

little monsters tribute their idol. Lady Gaga who has watched this video even tweeted that

this flash mob video has made her cried so hard.

This is definitely a good example of flash mob. In order to organize a flash mob,

we must make sure the flash mob is good enough. Alright this sounds really abstract, what is a good flash mob?

A good flash mob should reach these criterias:

1. there is a good and appropriate theme

2. must be able to shock and surprise the people around

3. the participant aka mobbers must be professional and full of enthusiasm

4. the flash mob must be able to touch people’s heart

If I were to organize a flash mob for Nuffnang, which is my great pleasure, 

I would make sure that it will be awesome and success. I would set my flash mob theme as 

Step up with Nuffnang!

"Step Up With Nuffnang” flashmob organizing strategies:

1. There will be no fixed makeup or costume!

-Just think about this, if all the participants wear Step Up tee or Nuffnang tee,

there’ll be no surprised. The audience or passer-bys must have figured out the performance beforehand.

Take for an example:

If you spotted a large crowd of people wearing the same color tee.

HELLO~This is so obvious, just took a glance at the blue people and the passer-bys would definitely know there’s something going wrong. The passer-bys could foresee that there will

either be performance or campaign going on.

Instead, I would make sure the participants will be wearing different attire, 

they might be dressed up in various professions outfit and some would be casual dressing.

I mean who would ever thought that the police officer standing besides the crowd is part of the flash mob participants?! And of course, this would make the flashmob more unexpectable and surprise . 

2. Make sure that the flashmob is carried out at an appropriate location

As the organizer, I will pick a venue which has adequate space for all the participants 

to perform. Don’t pick a place which has not much crowd, for example at a school during a weekend.

It might be spacious enough but come on, if we organize flash mob in school in a weekend,

of course we will not be getting any audience. Oh wait, probably there is, the school principal? janitor? or even the gardener?

3. Make sure the nuffies and participants are all enthusiasts

As a flashmob organizer, I will make sure that all the participants are really

passionate towards this flashmob as they are the most essential key for this activity,

Organizing a flashmob is not easy, the nuffies and participants must take out a lot of time and put

in a lot of effort in order to achieve a good outcome.

But seriously, in my point of view, it’s really not hard to find appropriate participants

for “Step Up with Nuffnang”, as like what I’ve seen during the Nuffnang Blogopolis event,

the nuffies are really passionate and enjoyed working with Nuffnang even though the job took

them a lot of hard works.

4. Ensure the Flash Mob is interesting enough to catch people attention

The dance moves don’t have to be complicated or professional, as long

as the Flash Mob is interesting and creative enough to capture the passer-bys’ attention.

Not just that, we can add in some funny dance move in order to make the 

performance much more hilarious and unforgettable!

Handphones in School?!

 Mobile phone either to be banned or allowed in school issues have been argued by most of the Malaysian students for the past few years. According to Star online news, Malaysian students will be allowed to bring mobile phones and IT gadgets to school starting next year. 

SERIOUSLY? it’s like a dream come true for all the primary and secondary school students.
Too bad I’ve graduated from high school two years ago >.<!

If mobile phones were to allowed to bring school during my primary school time,

well I guess everyone in the class will be busy transferring Lilo&Stitch, Spongebob, Totally Spies, Kim Possible, the Incredibles photos around and I’m pretty sure this would be my phone background:

Meet Ariel the mermaid. She’s my favorite Disney princess among all and personally I really hate mermaid story ending!!!! I just couldn’t understand the fact that how could this 

brave beautiful little princess turned into sea foam (T_T)

Alright back to the topic,  I’ll be setting the coolest ringtone of all and make all my classmates envy about it by setting my phone general mode during the class and set the ringtone to the maximum volume.  

Therefore, when someone called my phone,

“ Powerpuff saves the day! Fighting crimes, trying to save the world! “

Oh yeah! *like a boss* 

Besides that, I would update my Twitter all the times #lizzieleong

Ombre Nails tutorials

Hello hello my beautiful readers, do you all love colors?

Like me, I personally love ombre or dip-dyed hairstyle a lot and yet I have got no courage to get it because it’s way too bold.

This hairstyle just looks so fun and young!!

But honestly, not everyone can really manage to handle this hairstyle. 

I mean if you were a model or what, it was okay, but if you’re just a super ordinary people, probably you would end up looking like a mess.

It’s way to easy to go wrong with the ombre or dip dyed hair!

Alright Drew Barrymore looks like she has not been dying her hair for quite awhile with the black roots and her hair looks so unhealthy and frizzy.

That’s the worst ombre hair I’ve even seen!!

There was once I spotted a Korean student in my campus who really rocks her ombre hair. 

I was like super envious and had the enthusiasm to get this hairstyle as well,

but there’s a fact that I couldn’t deny, I just cannot manage to handle this hairstyle.

Of course there are people out there who look really good with their ombre hairstyle. 

But seriously, it’s really rare, like 1 out of every 10 person?!

Do you get what I’m trying to say here? 

It’s simply way too tough for most of us to rock this kinda ombre/dip dyed hairstyle.

But here’s the thing, I’m really into this ombre thingy although I knew that it’s not really for me.

But what can I do? go for this even it doesn’t suit me?

Definitely a big no-no! 

Why would I even try to force myself to fit in this ombre hairstyle even though it doesn’t suit me!

Instead, why not I just apply the ombre trend on my nails??

In that way, I’ll not be able to go wrong easily and always keep up with the trend. 

I’m so brilliant hahahhaha

To be honest, and obviously for those who have been reading my previous blog posts knew that I’m really not good at nail arts. The biggest reason for it is due to I am really extremely impatient and not artsy as well. I know it would be really easy for me to just get the ombre nails done at the nail saloons, it would save up a lot of time and extremely convenient. But there’ll be no satisfaction from doing these ombre nails. Furthermore it’s usually not cheap, a normal saloon might charge us approximately 40 bucks just for the fingers, but it doesn’t stay long. We might just scrape off the nail polish and might need to go back to the saloon every week for touch up or to do a new one. It’s really not worth it especially for a student who has limited allowance.

Alright, so I’ll be doing a ombre nail art tutorial.

Don’t worry, it’s really easy to make your own ombre nail art! Just follow these simple steps on my nail tutorial video and hopefully you guys really love it as I really put in a lot of efforts and courage. 

This is the first tutorial video that I made. Just enjoy it. 

It’s purely just for fun and sharing. And duh I’m not professional, so please forgive my imperfection.
