Star Cruise: Penang-Phuket-Krabi

We, as part of the Generation Y, has a tendency to keep swiping phone,
browsing social networks or playing phone games when we are bored, lifeless or when we're alone and trying to avoid awkward eye contact with strangers, don't you agree this? *giggles*

As usual, my hands are being 'itchy' again due to boredom,
so I just keep swiping the photos in my phone and actually found out tonnes of photos which are taken
during my first Star Cruise trip with my family *guilty*
I shall put the blame to my overloaded tutorials works, presentations and quizzes *puppy eyes*
Aha! What a stupid excuses!

Err-hem, anyway, although I blog about this vacation around two-months-late, I guess it won't affect much right, hehehe you know what they always say, 'better late than never' ! Hahaha!
Making up another excuse again and tried to cover up my laziness again :P

Okay enough with all my bullshit excuses. Hahahaha so funny staring at all these photos!
These photos were all taken around two months ago and I was so chubby that time,
it is so obvious that I had a really wonderful three months semester break at my hometown.
Non stop eating everyday ahaha who can resist mum's cook! And thankfully I've successfully lost 6kgs weight within two weeks, at least not so chubby now haha.

The youngsters here having some fun time taking photos hahaha!

Random shot taken before out lunch :D

Each of us were assigned by one card, the card acts as a 'room' card and 'credit card' at the same time.
When we buy souvenirs, food, merchandise or other expenses, we don't pay cash directly,
instead we just have to swipe this card and clear the bill when we checked out.

There are a lot of facilities and equipment available on the cruise, such as
swimming pool, casino, bar, gymnasium, restaurants, karaoke place and so much more. The cruise members have provided a lot of entertainment for all of the guests, such as Gangnam style dance tutorial, barbeque party, live band performance or even TomYam cooking class by
 the chef of the cruise.

It's so windy and chilly at the top deck especially during night.

Lying on the beach chair, chit chatting with our family members and feel the cool breeze at swimming pool side. It's just amazing.

 Gangnam Style dance tutorial :)

We took ferry from our cruise to Phuket :)

Finally reached Phuket's Patong Beach :)
Did you know the name of Phuket is derived from a Malay word, Bukit which means mountain or hills.

There are so many foreigners here at Phuket and there was one random foreigner who approached and asked us where country are we from.

Taxi aka Tut-tut!

Oh ya! We've visited the cashew nut factory too!
Did you know that Cashew nuts are made by Cashew Fruit?

Things we got from Phuket!!

These are the photos we taken in Krabi's taxi aka Tut-tut.

And a must eat dessert at Thailand, Mango Sticky Rice. *drools*

Overall, it's a really fun and enjoyable vacation, super great for family bonding
and time for relax. We had a lot of unforgettable moment together.

Kokunka! Thanks for reading!

KB Getaway!

It's been quite awhile since I last wrote a long post in my blog.
If you did notice, my last few previous posts are kinda like tumblr thingy.
As I've promised, I'm gonna blog about my Kota Bahru getaway with my family last weekend, so today's gonna be a real long post to compensate. *giggles*

It's just 2 days and 1 night food trip, pardon me for not taking a lot of photos.
Most of us have never been to KB, or even Kelantan before, therefore we were kinda excited.
Did some google-ing and thanks Wei Rong for introducing us Kelantan local delights.
Took us around 4.5 hours to reach KB all the way from Kuantan.

Okay time for some photos!!
Brother Jordan bought me my favorite milky bar!

Photos taken in our car :)
Uncle and brother ^_^

Cousin who just came back from Boston.

Here are the views from where we're staying :)

Photos taken at Ban Suan, Wakaf Bahru.
Ban Suan is a Korean-Thai fusion steamboat barbeque restaurant.
Looks like a bbq plaza for me :)

We ordered TomYam as soup base.

Bacon :)
And we ordered some other side dishes as well.

This is my first time eating Nasi Ulam and I kinda love it, thumbs up for budu (sauce). Oh not to mention, there's a really nice toast at Kopitiam Kita, I don't know what's the name, hehe! There's egg and 'kaya' on top of the bread, and it tastes so good with the mixture of butter! Miss the toast so muchhhh!

When we were on our way back to Kuantan, we had keropok lekor at Kuala Terengganu for our lunch and stuffed crab at Kemaman for our dinner. The keropok lekor tastes superb! I can never resist them haha and Terengganu has the best keropok lekor. *drooling*

Overall, we had lots of fun in the trip and it's really great to spend time with family together.
We get to know each other better and I'm definitely looking forward for more trips with then ^_^

Fun day at Port Dickson!

Dear readers, I'm sorry for lacking of blog updates recently.
Don't worry, I didn't lost my enthusiasm towards blogging, instead I have some personal issues.
Alright, tonight I'm gonna blog about my one day trip to Port Dickson with the monkeys :)
The monkeys are Jia May, Jasmine, Neer, Eric, Jae Sern, Wei Rong and Choong Yik.

This is my first time going to PD after hearing so much compliments on the beautiful beach.
This is a random one day trip in which we basically didn't plan any itinerary at all.
Wuhoo! I love one day trip!
I didn't sleep all night because the road trip starts at 4am and I don't wanna be overslept. hehhe!

My retarded smile. Why do I give this smile all the time? Aiks just ignore me.
Hehee. Spongebob in the car!

Prepared breakfast but ended up didn't eat there. haha and we actually went to a random coffee shop
for breakfast. Limau kasturi and breakfast set. Thanks Wei Rong for giving us breakfast treat :)
Yummy but it's really sad that I wasn't feeling well that day and ended up wasted the breakfast.

Barefoot and ready to rock the beach!!
Okay my toes look ugly, should have done some nail polish haha. Too late, but lesson learned. haha

Babes looking good :)

Too bad I don't know how to swim and ended up laying on the mat while waiting them to play Banana Boat.

My view while waiting them to finish their Banana Boat ride. What a beautiful scenery.
(In fact it was gonna rain)

Oh we did went to Cowboy Town for a visit and here are some photos, the place looks really
nice and interesting. They provide a lot of games and activities, but the truth is,
those activities are all fully booked and somehow we can't play, which means that we went there for nothing NOTHING!!!

In short, I had lots of fun with the people. We even went to Extreme Park and played go-kart and archery. I was way too scared while playing go-kart and ended up leaving myself a PD's souvenir,
which is a big patch of blue-black on my left leg and some slight scratches on my left arm as well.
I get hurt easily, (我是容易受伤的女人), hahaha lame. Thanks Silvia for offering me her 'Zambuk' medicine hehehhe. And annoying Chris aka Jia Wen said I tattooed my leg. hahaha.

And oh! We gotta credit Jia May, Eric and Wei Rong for being drivers of the day.
It was a long journey and they still willing to drive even it's really tiring. Kamsahamida!

Here are some tips for people who are planning to go PD:
1. Plan your trip
It's best to book a resort and overnight at PD, one day trip is way too short.

2. Check Weather Forecast
Avoid rainy season, duh!

3. Prepare Sunblock
If you don't want to get tanned :)

That's all for today's post.
