Swimming’s Birthday @ Dubu Dubu

It’s a post birthday post of Swimming’s birthday celebration at Dubu Dubu Seoul Food,
which is located at Sunway  Pyramid Marrakesh. The reason we chose there is due to it’s been awhile since Swimming craved for Korean BBQ. There was once when Silvia and I passed through the restaurant, we saw a huge crowd in the restaurant, typical people like us would always think that large crowd means good, HAHAH. When we reached there, we were a bit shocked as there is no BBQ served in the restaurant. I’ve always thought that Korean BBQ is a ‘must’ element of Korean restaurant, which apparently I was wrong. Anyway, we’ve still decided to give Dubu Dubu a try.

All the photos uploaded in this post are not edited.

While we’re waiting our food to be served, they’re playing kpop songs.

Swimming ordered Soondubu Jigae Set (Seafood). It’s so satisfying that she keep craving for it!

We ordered Pa-Jeon (Pancake) for sharing. It tastes really good and remember to dip Pa-Jeon with the sour and sweet sauce, which adds a savory flavor to the Pa-Jeon. It’s RM10.50 for ala-carte and RM11.50 for set.

Jennifer ordered this, I forgot what it’s called already. Failed blogger haha, it’s been 1 month +, so please forgive me. I only remembered she ordered this as this is not spicy hahaha.

Silvia ordered this haha, and again, I forgot what’s this called. I only remembered that it’s chicken dish which tastes like chinese cuisine.

I ordered Cheese Toppoki (Rice Cake). I ordered set which comes with three Banchan (side dishes) and soup. The eggs on top taste really good as they are full of cheese. The Toppoki at the bottom are ready with sweet sauce.

Jason ordered this. Don’t know what’s the name again hahaha.

Jia Ying ordered Japchae and she said it tastes delicious.

Overall, we had a fun time eating at Dubu Dubu Seoul food. The food are scrumptious and all of them satisfies our appetite. And of course, a birthday celebration couldn’t end without a birthday cake. We got Swimming’s birthday cake (vanilla mille crepe) from Komugi. I always love Komugi as their pastries are tasty and good quality, not to mention their cute packaging and great services as well.

That’s all for today post. Before ending this, I’d love to say a few words to Swimming. Before start talking to her, I’ve always thought that she is someone different, as she looks really hard to approach and she’s always excellent with her grades. After I really ‘know’ her, then only I realize that she’s really a great friend and she is not selfish in sharing her knowledges. She’s fun and very friendly (er hemm sometimes fierce la) hahaha. This is my first time celebrating Swimming’s birthday and hopefully I’ll be able to celebrate more birthdays with this babe. Wish you all the best in Perth and take good care of yourself!
