Sorry for the procrastination, so it's me again and I'm finally blogging about my new year celebration. From my Facebook and Twitter timeline, I've noticed that some people have been complaining that it's just a new year and why is everybody overreacting? but for me, it does mean a lot, especially after my closest aunt's death, it makes me realized that anything could happen, just like Ellie Goulding's song,
and I don't wanna have any regrets in my life, who knows I might die out of a sudden one day. *touchwood*
Okay back to my new year celebration, we planned to go KL and celebrate our new year there right after we've settled my aunt's funeral and while we were on our way home from funeral, suddenly I felt nausea and I was going to throw up anytime on the bus, but luckily I controlled myself and faster get home and rest. I was too fatigue after busy helping out for the last 5 days at the funeral and did not take enough of sleep. By the time I'm laying on my bed, I'm like: "oh shit, not again!", I spent my new year eve 2011 having tummy upset and count down laying on the bed, I will not let this happen again, two years in a row -.-
Thanks god after taking a nap for an hour and had some medicine, I've gone back to normal, yay! and ready to kick off our journey to KL thinking that hopefully this trip would help us to release some tension and get to spend some time together as a family! hehhehe! After 3 hours of sticking our ass on the car seats, finally we reached KL and by the time we reached Fahrenheit 88, it's already 8pm, which means we have only 2 hours left to shop, so we ended up spending one hour at Uniqlo and the rest time at H&M at Lot 10. Although Fahrenheit 88 and Lot 10 are just walking distance, but the crowd was crazy, it was extremely packed and we have to stay close together so that we won't lose each other. This is my first time shopping at H&M but too bad, we don't have much time left so I ended up getting a glittering hairband only, never mind! would definitely go again next time! *giggles*
Once we left the shopping malls after our shopping sphere, the crowd at Bukit Bintang is epic, everyone is celebrating new year eve's happily and some are spraying snow at each other and cars.
Our car got sprayed, too. er hem. I wondered what is it like to be one of them, haha seemed really exciting, I guess one day, I'm gonna join the crowd as well hehe! Sorry for the long boring dull text above coz I didn't take any photo during my christmas eve, this is more like a journal than a blog post hahah *awkward* My sisters and I ended up celebrating new year at 'In House' which is so
near to my house and we had dim sum at midnight.
The next day, which is the first day of year 2013, we went to The Gardens to continue shopping!
We kick off the day by having an amazing brunch with the family at Fong Lye. FYI, there are two
Fong Lye restaurant, we went to the one with fusion. This restaurant served fusion food (Taiwanese and Japanese). And I've finally take some photos hehe!
Right after sister Susan ordered the food, the waiter give us this sourish appetizer.
Fish sa cha steamboat :) I like it!
Salmon, prawns, scallop :)

Whole table full of food, I didn't take all the photos of the food, but these are the interesting ones.
This is only half of our table, so ended up we didn't finish all of them and actually take away instead.

And the desserts too!!
Overall I would rate 3 out of 5, the food tastes great and unique but it doesn't really worth the price.
It does worth a try though, how rare we can actually try a fusion of japanese food and taiwanese food in Malaysia. Oh ya, just a friendly reminder, this restaurant serves big portion, in case you're planning to go there, don't order too much food coz you might ended up like us, can't finish all.
So this is basically how I spent my new year, not to mention I've shopped quite a few stuffs ;)
Okay, till the next time!! Cheerio~
